We've sort of gotten close before, whenever Apollo's fronting very strongly, Lyra fades a little. Hopefully in the future that will be increased into a full switch.
I think of "fronting" as whoever's mind voice is the loudest, Cat's mind voice ends up relying on "micro thoughts" if I am fronting and have a solid grasp.(edited)
If I front heavily enough, it's like she's watching a movie. She loses immediate awareness of what's going on without realizing she's losing awareness... if that makes sense.

In my opinion, this is essentially a soft version of switching. This to me is different from how I understand posession
Possession was real simple for us. We were doing it before we found out about tulpas. We used puppeting symbolism to start with, imagining Cee pulling my limbs around with puppet strings. Then it became more about dissociation and it's effortless now.
Suppose it's more of a personal thing since back in the day there wasn't a lot of usage of the word "plural" when it came to tulpas and when we showed up against it was everywhere
